As in Holland the market for this kind of work was small, even non-existing, he went to France where he sold some of his drawings, met with racing driver Jean-Pierre Wimille and through him was introduced to Anthony Lago.

He liked Piet's work very much and asked him to design the body for Talbot-Lago. The one shown above is a beautiful proposal for a Grand-Sport, but Olyslager also designed formal limousines on the T26-chassis. Olyslager kept on working for Talbot, even after the factory was bought by Simca in 1959. What a wonderful find this manuscript is, just look at all these Talbot Lago radiator designs for the early fifties!
